Overview

TIN Facilitation Centers are available across the country.

Activities carried out by these TIN Facilitation Centers are:

  • Receive e-TDS/TCS returns from deductors/collectors and upload them to the TIN central system.
  • Receive TDS/TCS returns in paper format from non-corporate, non-government deductors/collectors and upload them to the TIN central system.
  • Receive Annual Information Returns from filers and upload them to the TIN central system.
  • Receive Request for New TAN and / or Changes or Correction in TAN data from applicants.
  • Receive Request for New PAN card and / or Changes or Correction in PAN data from applicants.

Exclusive TIN-PAN Centers

In addition to the above TIN Facilitation Centers, applications for PAN (new and change request) are accepted at the following locations:

 new @ TIN
Prepare Quarterly e-TDS/TCS Regular and corresponding Correction statement with RPU Version 2.1 as per new data structure (with effect from October 01, 2009).

e-TBAF Preparation utility (version 1.2)

Taxpayers can now view details of paid refund in their Annual Tax Statement (Form 26AS)

Register your TAN online

Prepare correction statement on regular statement (accepted in TIN as per the old data structure) with RPU version 1.8.

FVU (Ver. 1.4.5) for AIR

New features/validations introduced in AIR FVU version 1.4.5

FVU for Quarterly e-TDS/TCS with new validations released

Tax Credit Statement (Form 26AS) view available for net banking account holders

Identity and address of a certain percetange of PAN applications are verified by visiting the PAN applicants. Hence, an authorized third party agency may visit the PAN applicant to verify the identity and address provided in the PAN application.
